Purpose

 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many.

I Corinthians 12:13-14

The One Heart Ministry at the Church of Christ in Forest Hill is dedicated to welcoming and coordinating activities to engage new members. The mission of ‘One Heart Ministry” is to demonstrate the love of Christ and make each individual feel like they are part of our church family. Our primary goal is to eliminate fear and encourage unity by displaying the beauty of glorifying God and creating an atmosphere where both new converts and individuals placing their membership at Forest Hill Church of Christ feel accepted in our fellowship. The members of this ministry are committed to doing whatever is deemed necessary to enhance each person’s worship experience at our congregation. 

When individuals acknowledge their acceptance to FHCOC (though baptism or placing membership) a member of the “One Heart Ministry” will greet them and make every effort we can to enhance their worship experience and connect them to our family and make them feel at home.
