Purpose

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

Colossians 3:23

I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Philippians 4:13

The purpose of the Worship Ministry is to worship God “in Spirit and in truth” (John 4:24), making sure everything is done decently and in order for God. With the guidance of our congregation’s Elders, we facilitate worship services that are pleasing and acceptable to God.

Preaching/Teaching

Mark 16: 15-16

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Acts 20:7

Prayers

I Thessalonians 5:17

Pray without ceasing.

Communion (Every Sunday)

I Corinthians 11: 23-25

For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

Giving

2 Corinthians 9:7

So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
