Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven. – Matthew 5:16

The Outreach ministry at the Church of Christ in Forest Hill is dedicated to reaching out to members of the community and serving as ambassadors for Christ.

College Care Packages

Final exam time can be grueling for college students! The Outreach Ministry wraps “a little something special” and sends care packages to our college students as they wrap up the first semester each year.

Fall and Spring Festivals

The surrounding community, our church family and their kinfolk/friends are cordially invited to have great fun while getting to know us during these two outdoor events…one in the fall and the other in the spring!

Friends and Family Days

These are special days where we ask all members to make extra special efforts to invite friends and family to worship with us! We want to SHARE THE JOY of living in Jesus Christ and fellowshipping with the body of believers at the Church of Christ in Forest Hill!

Purple Tea and Honor thy Father Cancer Programs

These programs occur every two years. Attendees learn about cancer prevention, treatment and available resources. Additionally, they hear testimonies of cancer survivors and “real talk” about cancer.

Visitor Reception/Greeters

Welcome! The Visitor Reception/Greeters team is always ready to receive visitors and members with a genuine smile and friendly reception. They are the first face of “a place to belong” at our congregation.

Saints Triumph Over Problems (STOP)

S.T.O.P stands for Saints Triumph Over Problems. STOP is a 12-step group that relies on the saving grace of the Holy Spirit. The 12-steps come from God’s word and has proven to work in other fellowships for those in bondage to any type of sin. We are seeking recovery in our lives and here we find love and acceptance from others with our background. The group focuses on member’s similarities not the differences.
